Come build your career with us. As the Principal Quality Engineer for F-35 Production Program supporting our Advanced Composite Manufacturing products, you will be responsible for:
Review of program contract requirements and implementation of quality plan within the ACM IPT
Provide clear communication and flow down of program quality and command media requirements to all affected disciplines (Engineering, Operations, and Program Management) Leading COPQ initiative for F35 Product in ACM factory, performing data analysis and driving actions
Performance of data analysis to drive continuous improvement actions
Leading Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities through to closure
Manufacturing Support for Production Build including Process Review Board, Corrective Action Board and Configuration Control Board participation
Control of Non-Conforming Materials including leading containment and disposition activities
Lead Material Review Board activity
Failure Review Board participation
Performance of Quality Management Systems Audits Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Technical discipline and 6+ years of work experience. Experience with the following:
Contract Review and flow down
Leading Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities
Leading Continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean Six Sigma Tools
Quality Auditing Leading Material Review Board
Failure Review Board Configuration Control and HW Configuration management Strong and Demonstrated Communication Skills (written, verbal, visual) and interpersonal skills (listening and communicating within a group/team environment)
Demonstrated leadership of a team
Ability to work independently and with little or no direct oversight
Producing high quality work in a face paced, dynamic work environment
Attention to detail
Proficient in MS Office Products including Word, Excel, Power Point Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Sciences
Experience in Composite Manufacturing
Experience with AS9102- First Article Inspection
Experience in defense industry Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
