We've got what you're looking for. Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Planned Projects Project Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to assist with planning, managing, installing, and closing-out chartered Counter Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) projects. What You'll Be Doing: Responsible for the execution of C-UAS section's-chartered projects, to include Charter, Survey, Design, Procurement, Shipping/Logistics, Installation, Validation, and Close-out.
Complete all project documentation and certification by appropriate U.S. government officials. Direct, supervise, and validate all project deliverables and submit to appropriate U.S. government officials in accordance with the project charter. Develop, coordinate, and supervise chartered project survey plans, design timelines, installation plans, operational verification, and close-out documentation in accordance with the applicable FAM/FAH and the project charter. Supervises the Project Coordinator (PC) in the direction of their tasks, training, data entry, and coordination with project stakeholders. Responsible for the performance, development, and mentoring of employees with the Planned Projects pillar. Coordinates with other pillar managers for the execution of project management and integrating domestic and international projects with C-UAS staff and personnel. In the execution of chartered project installation or execution, ensures the execution and implementation all health, safety, and environmental policies and training in accordance with the Parsons Safety Program. Works with the Program Lead and pillar leads to develop project budgets, schedules, and plans for annual budgets, spend plans, and planned projects in support of international or domestic operations. Monitors and reports on the progress of planned projects within the program, including significant milestones and any conditions, which would affect project cost, schedule, or performance. Present information and briefings to senior managers orally and in writing. Review, compile, and submit C-UAS Weekly Activity Report (WAR) for Chartered Projects to the Operations Manager or Deputy Program Lead for review. Establish, maintain, and update a Chartered Projects tracker that can easily accessed by senior managers and provide near real-time project status and information. Ensure all project documentation is titled in accordance with C-UAS titling guidelines and uploaded to the appropriate Planned projects location in Teams and on the C-UAS SharePoint site. Ensure all project execution tasks are properly documented as a Work Order (WO) in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) as part of project execution, validation, and close-out. Provide daily personnel report to Core Office and OSIS II Program Office; provide any updates of personnel absences, illness, injuries, or other events that could result in a loss of work. Supervise the personnel hiring policies, procedures, and interviews; supervise and monitor implementation of HR policies and procedures when performing job duties. Conduct annual staff appraisals and assessments to develop and mentor subordinate personnel. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of C-UAS technical processes, functions and requirements. Utilize knowledge of supply chain processes, governing policies, manuals, and instructions for implementation for program milestones. Perform document generation, review and editing for all supported projects and plans. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate and/or directed by the Core Office or Government Technical Monitor (GTM). What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor's Degree and 2 years C-UAS experience PMP Certification or equivalent experience (within 6 months of hiring date) 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot License Candidate must have 5+ years' experience in project management including the ability to manage diverse, multi-functional teams responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions on time and within budget. Experience with effectively and professionally communicating technical and program related information to multiple stakeholders and adherence to established communications plans. Candidate must be able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities in dynamic, politically sensitive environments ensuring customer expectations are managed. Must have knowledge and experience developing project management plans, communication plans, project budget and schedules, identifying and managing risk. Must demonstrate experience the successful planning, development and the implementation of project in terms of cost, schedule and scope. What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Candidate shall possess a valid Remote Pilot Certificate under Part 107 of Federal Aviation Administration and demonstrate understanding of regulations, requirements, and procedures for flying UASs. Candidate will possess a working knowledge of project management, US Department of State Foreign Affairs Handbook (FAH) and Foreign Affairs Manual (FAM) requirements, and industry standards such as PMI for project management. Knowledge and experience with Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for loading, tracking, and closing maintenance Work Orders (WO) Candidate will maintain a professional demeanor, demonstrating excellent oral and written communication skills to resolve issues with all stakeholders.
