The ESG Solution Consultant will work closely with the Sustainability pre-sales, delivery, alliance & Partnerships, marketing, and advisory/consulting teams to support client sustainability engagements, guide project scoping, and drive key technology partnership developments through internal and external technology/product enablement and advisory services. The ESG Solution Consultant will develop bespoke demonstrations and other strategic content on key aspects of strategic sustainability products and vendors. They will also be responsible for owning and driving progress on internal initiatives aimed at developing valuable Marketing content and reusable assets. This mid-level role will have an immediate impact supporting the rapid growth in sustainability sales and partnerships by ensuring Cognizant has an awareness and understanding of industry leading sustainability tools and technology providers. In this role, the ESG Platform Architects will have the opportunity to learn from an experienced and proven team while driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Support consulting and advisory engagements for clients on each of the key strategic ESG data and reporting platforms
Work closely with Sustainability pre-sales team to scope and define new features/offerings and promote them to customers
Drive and manage go-to-market efforts with current and new ESG Software partners
Be able to articulate key differences between various partner platforms to advise clients on best product for clients' requirements
Evaluate new products in expanding vendor landscape and advise the business and clients on how we should engage with them
Work with technical SMEs to build and manage standard demonstration environments used by sustainability team for each key ESG data platform
Support Sustainability Sales and Marketing efforts at events
Support sustainability team in response to client RFI and RFP
Enable internal teams on product features and enhancements
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of the benefits and capabilities of sustainability data management platforms
Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks such as IFRS, SASB, CDSB, GRI, CDP, etc.
At least one year of experience utilizing, implementing or selling ESG reporting software such as IBM Envizi, Salesforce Net Zero Cloud, Workiva, Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability, etc.
Ability to work autonomously
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Technical Education or related work experience
Exemplary verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
Desired Skills
Proven and highly capable quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to map customer activities to ESG impacts and to recommend ESG process, data management and KPI strategies and solutions
Experience working, implementing or developing Salesforce Net Zero Cloud, IBM Envizi, Workiva, or Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability
Comfortable with third party APIs and Documentation
Customer facing service or solution delivery experience with effectively influence outcomes
Be a self-starter and have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 - $127,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
