Unmanned Systems Program Analyst Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: None What You'll Get to Do: You will be part of a dynamic team that provides specialized support to the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E specifically, the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense - Science and Technology Futures. Candidates will support oversight and program management of science and technology portfolios to solve current and future challenges for the Department of Defense (DoD). The DASD-S&T requires highly specialized technical, program, and administrative support services to achieve its mission . More About the Role: Working as an Unmanned Systems Program Analyst in the Emerging Technologies Directorate you will provide a range of support including: Coordination of S&T international partnership initiatives critical to the C-sUAS of detection, tracking, identification (DTI), and mitigation technologies spectrum to include, but not limited to active collaboration with partner nations.
Conduct analytical studies and technology explorations in support of the Joint Staff and Combatant Commanders to identify new and innovative passive approaches to enhance survivability from the employment of adversary UAS against US-friendly forces and critical assets. Identify promising S&T technologies to rapidly transition to a prototype capability.
Expand current S&T counter small-UAS support efforts to include the countering of Unmanned Surface Vessels (USV), Unmanned Underwater Vessels (UUV), and Unmanned Ground Systems (UGS). Provide R&E support of the muti-domain unmanned systems portfolio during Joint Staff capability portfolio management reviews (CPMR) that are part of the Joint Requirements Oversight Council Memorandum (JROCM) process. You'll Bring These Qualifications: Fifteen (15) years of recent and relevant experience
Demonstrated positions supporting the DoD enterprise
Excellent communication skills. Ability to independently build briefings, moderate meetings, and work with both junior and senior staff in a distributed environment to deliver high quality, timely products Demonstrated success in the conception and execution of new projects (i.e., no pre-existing business processes), without detailed guidance from the client
Education: A master's degree from an accredited college or university is required. PhD in a technical field is preferred, however, educational requirements may be waived based on extensive technical experience.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
