Through research programs funded by science and technology R&D organizations within the U.S. Department of Defense, the research and development team in FAST Labs collaborate across the enterprise. On this team, you'll have the opportunity to create and develop advanced technology capabilities in the areas of advanced electronics, autonomy, cyber, electronic warfare, and sensors and processing. A Senior Program Planner prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives. Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including but not limited to finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality. Monitors program schedule performance, tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts. Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas. Updates and prepares reports for customers. Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status Required Education, Experience, & Skills Facilitate the development of Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) that will guide program execution and serve as the basis for Earned Value performance.
Lead/facilitate the planning, establishment and maintenance of the Performance Measurement Baseline
Identify trends using effective schedule Metrics, suggests corrective actions in a timely manner and supports implementation
Proactively engages in program execution and risk management
Perform Schedule Assessments and Analyses on the baseline IMS to identify schedule risks and participate in Risk Management process
Review, recommend and implement, as appropriate, schedule work-around or recovery plans in a proactive manner
Routinely assist program management by monitoring SPI/CPI and BEI performance and preparing schedule status reports for customer and/or business management reviews
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in, Operations, Technical field of study, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar applicable discipline; or equivalent experience, and four (4) years of planning/scheduling experience; or a Master's Degree and three (3) year of related experience. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Strong interpersonal skills to influence diverse work teams
Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast paced environment
Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures
Proficient in MS Project or other Planning SW, MS Excel, and MS Office applications
Experience with Milestones Professional, forProject-DCMA Analyzer, WBS Pro, COBRA and Schedule Risk SW.
Experience with project forecasting and analysis, particularly in a US Defense environment
Understanding and knowledge with regards to industry Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide (PASEG)
General understanding of US DoD schedule policies and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) requirements.

Full-Time Salary Range: $78760 - $133870 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
