What we are looking for:
SCS Engineers is looking for a Wastewater Treatment Engineer to help us expand our landfill leachate and industrial wastewater management practice. Ideally, you will be at the SCS Atlanta office, which is conveniently located at Duluth, GA; however, we are open for any SCS Southeast office for a great candidate like you.

How you can make an impact:
Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering and scientific principles. and

Prepares and reviews engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and permit applications.

Manage or assist in projects and personnel as necessary to meet both client and SCS expectations.

Makes decisions independently on engineering or scientific problems and methods, plans and coordinates work, and represents the company at meetings and conferences.

Field work in varied terrain and weather may be required, including but not limited to, surveys/data gathering, construction quality assurance, inspections, etc.

Office based tasks including but not limited to: designing treatment systems, CAD drafting, mathematical calculations, report writing, creating site plans and facility diagrams, permit applications, etc.

Business development including but not limited to: proposal preparation, meeting with clients, and attending industry-related conferences/trade shows.

Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans or projects.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental/Chemical Engineering, or any other related engineering discipline is required.

P.E. license strongly preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of related wastewater or leachate treatment system design experience required.

Technical experience in design of landfill leachate or other wastewater treatment systems, piping, and process controls as well as report preparation, permit coordination, and construction phase services.

Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and current engineering design software.

Valid driver's license required.

Pay Range:
USD $70,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 /Yr.
