Work you'll do/Responsibilities: Work directly with our clients to provide service excellence and be embedded within client teams to augment delivery.
Identify opportunities for efficiencies in work process and innovative approaches to completing scope of work.
Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues.
Developing strong communications materials, including senior level briefings, website maintenance, executive presentations, and marketing materials
Engage regularly with c-suite executives in the public and private sector, anticipate their needs, and prep those leaders on industry issues.
Conduct research and analysis, conduct process improvement internally, and identify important industry topics for analysis.
Conduct relevant research, data analysis, and create technical reports related to the oil and gas sector and other similar sectors.
Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products.
Identify new areas for potential expansion and growth for the Deloitte team and ways to help clients advance their mission.
As needed and justified by project demands, expand consulting skills and professional development through training courses and mentoring.
Qualifications: Required Bachelor's degree in energy and environment, business management, engineering, analytics, or related field.
Strong understanding of and 6+ years of experience working with the oil and gas sector, greenhouse gas emissions, including methane, and hydrogen.
Strong writer and proven communicator
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearances.
Ability to perform job responsibilities within in a hybrid work model that requires professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week with limited oversight.
Ability to be a self-starter and manage client requests.
Preferred Analytical thinking - ability to analyze data and trends to define key challenges related to oil and gas sector.
Communication skills - advanced proficiency in communicating effectively with various stakeholders within and outside the organization.
Problem-solving - capability to identify issues and develop practical solutions in related to energy and greenhouse gas emissions.
Prior experience working with Federal client in consulting.
