As a Systems Security Engineer III, you will be using your skills and expertise to design, test, and implement our secure operating systems, networks, security monitoring, and tuning. You'll be the cyber security expert for platform information technology systems, and ensure compliance with the Risk Management Framework during the design and sustainment of those systems. Responsibilities: Act as the cyber security and Risk Management Framework subject matter expert
Coordinate Risk Management Framework activities with government accreditation office and engineering team
Configure and maintain tools such as Nessus, Evaluate-STIG, anti-virus, auditing software, software composition analysis engines, and static code analysis engines
Travel to customer events as-needed to support engineering efforts Must-haves: Ability to obtain IAT Level II certification (such as CompTIA Security+) within 6 months of hire
Bachelor's degree in and Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline and 6 years of relevant experience
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions, and test procedures
Experience accrediting programs through the DoD Risk Management Framework
Working knowledge of Linux operating systems
An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Technical writing skills in support of policy and/or user documentation Preferred: ISSM CAP, CISSP, or CISM Certification
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Experience with static code analysis tools
Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus and Evaluate-STIG Estimated Starting Salary Range: $104,827.91 - $144,138.38.
