Ford & GM Powertrain Cooling Intern

SUMMARY:

The Powertrain Cooling Intern will asssist product development engineers working with customer (Ford / GM / VW) to benchmark competitor components (radiators - ICE and EV).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist product development engineers in benchmarking competitor components (radiators - ICE and EV)
• Submit and track DV/PV testing
• Attend Customer meetings as required (Ford / GM / VW)
• Order samples both internally and externally as needed
• Maintain project folders with latest design releases
• Facilitate the shipping of components between MAHLE locations
• Support special assignments as needed (i.e. new resin validation)
• Hybrid - 50/50, especially during school year

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Major: Mechanical Engineering preferred. Other Engineering disciplines considered.
• Class Standing: Prefer Jr. or Sr., but will consider Sophomors
• Grade Point: 3.0 or above
• Skills: Basic computer skills required
• Experience: 1 Previous internship preferred
• Interest in Thermal Dynamics
• Self-driven individual capable of seeking out assignments
• Ability and confidence to provide frequent status updates
• Organize data in a clear and concise manner
• Be able to work both independently and as part of project team
