SUMMARY:
The Powertrain Cooling Intern will asssist product development engineers working with customer (Ford / GM / VW) to benchmark competitor components (radiators - ICE and EV).

The Powertrain Cooling Intern will asssist product development engineers working with customer (Ford / GM / VW) to benchmark competitor components (radiators - ICE and EV).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist product development engineers in benchmarking competitor components (radiators - ICE and EV)
- Submit and track DV/PV testing
- Attend Customer meetings as required (Ford / GM / VW)
- Order samples both internally and externally as needed
- Maintain project folders with latest design releases
- Facilitate the shipping of components between MAHLE locations
- Support special assignments as needed (i.e. new resin validation)
- Hybrid - 50/50, especially during school year
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Major: Mechanical Engineering preferred. Other Engineering disciplines considered.
- Class Standing: Prefer Jr. or Sr., but will consider Sophomors
- Grade Point: 3.0 or above
- Skills: Basic computer skills required
- Experience: 1 Previous internship preferred
- Interest in Thermal Dynamics
- Self-driven individual capable of seeking out assignments
- Ability and confidence to provide frequent status updates
- Organize data in a clear and concise manner
- Be able to work both independently and as part of project team
