We are looking for a Program Manager for the Autonomy, Processing & Exploitation (APEX) product line within FAST Labs. APEX research spans technology thrusts from sensor processing (including communications, position, navigation, and timing, and signal exploitation), through knowledge generation and sense-making, up to tactical and operational level autonomy and decision support for manned, unmanned, and teamed mission applications. Our research drives advances in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and statistical signal processing, pushing the boundaries of what is possible through advanced system prototypes and capability demonstrations. We seek to expand and advance our capabilities into full-spectrum, all-domain, all-participant, multi-time-scale applications. As a Program Manager, you will support programs for the FAST Labs business area out of Burlington, MA where our primary customers are DARPA and other government labs. This position requires a comprehensive interface with Contracts, Subcontracts, Finance, Purchasing, IT, and Security functions within the company as well as with Government customers to ensure that the project's financial, schedule and technical objectives are met and that the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved. You will have a significant opportunity to work with several leaders in these areas and in the technical business areas defining future technology transition. Key aspects of this role:
Accountable for all aspects of program initiation, planning and execution (cost, schedule, technical performance, quality, customer engagement, etc.) and ensuring program commitments are met.
Will have authority to make decisions related to assigned projects.
Responsible and accountable to the Business for program execution, profitability, timeliness, and overall success. Makes decisions that are cost effective to the company and ensures assigned projects meet financial commitments for orders, sales, profit and cash flow.
Leads or participates in the creation of new business strategies and in the development of strategic and financial plans.
Demonstrates:
An understanding of life cycle management
Knowledge of defense contract types
Knowledge of Earned Value Management
Strong communication skills both internal and customer facing
Strong leadership in ethics, safety and security.
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it can take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely, or an on-site format. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Minimum 5 years of experience leading and inspiring diverse teams in a high tempo, agile environment.
Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance
Experience integrating scope, schedule, budget and risk for the successful execution of the programs objectives
Proven track record working with financial analysts to achieve all financial objectives for the program
Ability to lead cross functional teams (ie Engineering, Finance, Operations, etc.) in the execution of complex technical tasks
Exhibit sound interpersonal skills to interface, coordinate, and negotiate with company personnel, customers, and suppliers
Exercise discretion and independent judgement in the performance of PM duties
Ability to develop and execute a program schedule and subsequently track status against that schedule
Actively manage customer relationships to maintain a win-win of program execution and future busines Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Experience with Life Cycle Management

Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
