Job Summary: Raytheon is seeking an experienced professional with a strong and proven successful background in Supply Chain and Program Management to fill a critical Material Program Manager (MPM) role supporting the LTAMDS Program. As an MPM, you're a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving program objectives in a matrix environment and able to successfully interface with functional and program leadership. You're able to lead and influence cross-functional teams. In this highly visible role, you're a member of the LTAMDS team, and as the Supply Chain interface to LTAMDS programs you're the liaison between Supply Chain and the LTAMDS Array Integrated Product Team (IPT). You'll create and execute Material Product Strategies (MPS) and the Material Product Plans (MPP) to ensure the execution of products and programs from the front end of the business through contract closure. You will be responsible for Estimate at Completion (EAC's), proactive procurement strategies, management of AOP including MFT and R&O, and program metrics across contracts. What You Will Do: Communicate and translate LTAMDS requirements to suppliers; Conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity, and risk. Ensure suppliers are operating to and supporting MRP, the MPP, and the MPS. Develop and execute Risk/Opportunity plans to meet program responsibilities & proactively manage mitigation plans. Monitor performance metrics and proactively act to address program and functional issues. Act as a key supplier and customer interface. Proactively identify and mitigate vulnerabilities within the supplier's performance. Facilitate necessary product and process changes through collaboration with suppliers and Engineering/Quality. Facilitate resolution of product non-conformances. Actively participate in program/engineering reviews and change boards, including CN and ECP reviews and approvals. Commitment to obtain MPM certification after experience in the role. Travel required, domestically or internationally, to support program objectives. Qualifications you Must Have: Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience Prior work experience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel and/or Power point) The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Qualifications We Prefer: Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Business, Finance, Management, Engineering, Supply Chain or similar Active Secret or Top-Secret Clearance. Last full background investigation within the past 6 years Experience with budget and Earned Value (EV) management, MRP systems and tools such as PRISM and KINAXIS, Risk and Opportunity (R&O) Management, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and/or proposals Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), leadership abilities, and the ability to work in an IPT environment Must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives, and able to interface with all levels of internal management as well as supplier management Must be able to succeed in the high stress, fast paced development environment Excellent time management skills and the ability to assign the appropriate priorities to the many tasks they will be required to perform What We Offer: Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
