What we are looking for:
SCS Engineers is looking for a Senior-Level Air-Quality Professional in our Bedford, Texas office for our air quality and compliance consulting practice focused on municipal solid waste landfills. In this position, you will be managing projects, developing proposals and will also be directly involved with public and private clients in marketing, client management, project production, and related issues in the Texas market. Your responsibilities will include project management, business development, client development, and staff training and development. This position is in office in our Bedford, Texas location.
How you can make an impact:
A mixture of office and field work expected, with an emphasis on office work.
Some work-related travel will be necessary but usually limited to a single day and short trips.
Air permitting and compliance work.
GHG and emissions inventories.
Document preparation, calculations, modeling, proposals, and business development related to the above-listed work.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with significant experience in physical sciences, engineering, or related subject required.
10+ years of related air experience required.
Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially emission calculations.
Database use and XML knowledge.
Knowledge of air quality, GHG, NSPS, NESHAPS rules.
Knowledge of TCEQ and/or other state air permitting policies and procedures (both Title V and NSR).
Specific knowledge of MSW Landfill air compliance preferred.
Understanding of common laboratory analytical procedures for air testing.
Air quality modeling such as AERMOD proficiency is a benefit.
Experience with solid waste-specific air compliance expertise a benefit.
Valid driver's license with driving record in good standing required.
Pay Range:
USD $90,000.00 - USD $(phone number removed) /Yr.
