Role Summary:
Help us bring to life the next generation of Rivian Vehicles by taking a leading role in managing the Software development and integration of Infotainment and Connectivity Software through the Development Life Cycle. As part of the Software Technical Program Management Team, you will be responsible for collaborating with various Software Domain teams such as Audio, Displays, Connectivity, Platform, Middleware, Functional Safety and Software Integration teams to plan, develop and manage software deliverables to meet integration and program milestones

Responsibilities:
Scoping with technical teams based on a systems engineering approach, and planning software development timelines around program milestones

Prioritization of software development components to unblock internal and external milestones

Driving the development of an integrated timing plan with identified dependencies aligned with each of the Infotainment and Connectivity domains

Development and tracking of key KPIs within the software domains

Leading and aligning cross-functional dependencies between the software domains and external to the software domains

Prioritizing and driving technical issues to closure through alignment within the infotainment and connectivity domains

Providing the program team and executive management progress updates on the execution of the deliverables

Conducting healthy escalations in advance of a deliverables going out of bounds

Identifying and executing continuous process improvements

Qualifications:
BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related technical fields with 5+ years relevant experience

3+ years of Technical or Engineering Program Management experience

Experience with Systems Engineering principles

Experience with Software Development Lifecycle

Experience working with and managing Software from suppliers

Experience working across the software stack

Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Expert in agile and waterfall development process using Jira and other program management tools

Understanding and experience working with hardware/software bring-up of distributed systems, managing project dependencies, and negotiating parallel activities to optimize project execution

Proven track record with software development project planning, progress tracking, and risk management

Pay Disclosure:
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants: $167,400-$209,300 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
