Overview:
TRC Advanced Energy (TRC) is a globally known energy efficiency consultancy. TRC collaborates with clients to develop and implement market transforming programs and initiatives that promote energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green building in multiple market sectors across the US and around the world. These initiatives reduce energy costs, improve the health and safety conditions of buildings, while also helping the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. TRC is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support the management of our California Residential New Construction electrification portfolio. The primary focus for this role will be to oversee multiple projects for multiple programs, though the application submittal, scope of work review, preapproval, change requests, final review, and incentives grant. The Associate Project Manager will train and support junior operations staff and lead process improvement initiatives to the program's processes. This candidate will work closely with potential program participants to review project applications. The Associate Project Manager will execute efforts via phone or email communication with residential builders and developers, energy consultants, and project teams to promote and confirm program eligibility, layer incentives, and update applicants about their incentive status as needed. The Associate Project Manager will be responsible for communicating updates to relevant stakeholders at each phase, remove barriers as needed, and support each project from initiation to completion.
The ideal candidate will have experience with utility energy efficiency and electrification incentive processing. They will have experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and have the ability to train internal and external stakeholders on best practices of using the system. They will be an independent detail-oriented leader with a positive attitude and who is excellent at multi-tasking while maintaining a high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication with solid customer service and problem-solving abilities. We are looking for an organized team player with a passion for giving back to the community through equitable energy and sustainability.

Responsibilities:
Monitor and report program key performance metrics and provide updates to management and the client.
Facilitate lessons learned and process improvement meeting within the operations vertical to promote best practices and work through challenges as a team. Independently manage workload and prioritize critical tasks.
Resolve any barriers that arises for internal and external stakeholders throughout the project cycle.
Be accountable for the projects that are assigned and notify management team if there are any delays or discrepancies to the process.
Advanced understanding of Customer Relationship Management system and provide input for enhancements or troubleshooting.
Work with portfolio team to actively manage multiple projects through the entire lifecycle in various stages.
Support end-user customers in understanding, completing, and submitting required project paperwork and including relevant supporting documentation.
Review and verify incoming project submittals on a regular basis to determine eligibility and request missing information as needed.
Provide outstanding customer service, utilizing excellent communication skills and positive attitude to work with detailed requests from customers, client staff, and internal team members.
Support outreach, technical, and other cross functional teams as needed through reporting, research, information follow-up, end-user customer training, etc.
Ensure incentives are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements
Residency in California
Bachelor's degree with 6 years of relevant experience OR 10 years of relevant professional experience
Advanced in MS Office tools (i.e. outlook, word, excel, teams, SharePoint)
Experience managing multiple project timelines, resources, stakeholders and ability to achieve goals on time and in budget.
Experience with energy efficiency and/or electrification.
Experience with new construction.
Experience submitting or processing utility incentive or rebate programs.
Experience using a CRM or similar system to effectively track customer and/or project details.
Ability to travel within the state of California.
Desired Skills and Experience
Experience with processing complex projects.
Self driven and a team player with established critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills.
Strong teamwork skills that include highly effective communication in person, over email, and over the phone.
