SCS Engineers is looking for an Environmental Services (ES) Project Manager to join our established team serving the Gulf Coast markets of Northern Florida, Alabama and Southern Mississippi. You will be based in the Mobile, Alabama office of SCS Engineers. You will support the growth of our business in the industrial/commercial and real estate markets. You must enjoy being part of a team-centric work environment. As a project manager, you will have input beyond project management, including growing our ES Practice, managing and mentoring ES staff, and supporting oversight of office operations.
As our Environmental Services Practice Manager, you will contribute to our growth by:
Provide leadership that embodies our culture; trust, care and grow
Develop existing clients to grow revenue and diversify services
Integrate and collaborate with other ES staff in the Southeast region ( 8 satellite office locations) and across the company
Support the Mobile office operations
Provide leadership for employee engagement efforts
Build dynamic project teams to deliver high-quality client service and deliverables
Support the growth and development of staff
As a Seller, you will contribute to our growth by:
Maintaining and building relationships with existing clients.
Collaborating with other leaders to develop plans for expanding environmental business and service lines.
Enhancing the value of the services that we perform for existing clients.
Actively participate and network within the professional and business organizations within the community.
As a Doer, you will work with a team of professionals, including SCS' national experts in various fields, to assist our clients in resolving a wide variety of environmental challenges that include but are not limited to:
Environmental Due Diligence - Phase 1 and Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessments
Environmental Risk Assessment and Remediation - soil, groundwater, stormwater, wastewater, subsurface gas, vapor intrusion
Brownfield Assessment and Redevelopment
Environmental Permitting, Reporting, and Compliance - RCRA, CERCLA, CAA, SDWA, CWA, NEPA
Sustainability Services- Assist clients with planning, designing, and in some cases implementing, their sustainability goals whether through water re-use, materials recycling, energy reduction, or greenhouse gases
Deep Well and Carbon Sequestration services - Pipeline permitting, well design and installation, monthly O&M, and Annual reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in an environmental-related science or engineering field required
Professional registration (e.g., PE, PG) preferred
Minimum of 8 years of related work experience required
Minimum of 3 years working at an environmental consulting firm required
Experience working with ADEM, FDEP, or MDEQ preferred
Valid driver's license and driving record in good standing required
Pay Range:
