The Production Planning and Control Manager will lead the production control team in the areas of scheduling, staffing, and business planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and maintaining of production schedules to ensure efficient production processes

  • Coordinate with various departments such as procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure a smooth supply chain process

  • Monitor inventory levels and production progress to identify potential issues and propose solutions

  • Analyze production data to assess performance and efficiency

  • Prepare production reports and present them to management

  • Lead company level themes related to continuous improvement

  • Train and mentor team members to ensure they are capable of meeting their job requirements

  • Set goals and objectives for the team and evaluate their performance

    Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field or relevant experience

  • 6-8+ years of manufacturing experience

    Knowledge/Skills:

  • Proven experience in production planning and supply chain management

  • Experience in a leadership role with strong team management skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

    Additional Requirements:

  • This role requires up to 10% of travel (domestic, with potential international)
