Who we're looking for:
Client Advanced Product Planning Office APPO is looking for a passionate and highly motivated corporate partner to fill the role of Technical Project Analyst / Project engineer within our fuel cell product planning team. This individual will have the opportunity to grow their zero-emission product development and program management capability and contribute to high visibility and impact product launches within Client.
The primary responsibility of this role is to support project development activities for new areas of business where Client is looking to introduce our fuel cell products. This role will specifically work on technical project engineering and project management for developing the next generation of fuel cell products into a variety of applications including but not limited to heavy-duty (class 8) trucks.
Reporting to the Sr. Program Manager, the person in this role will support the Advanced Product Planning Office's objective of developing advanced fuel cell projects in new business areas.
What you'll be doing:
Support overall project activities including development schedule, product needs, build timing, and program execution.
Support and coordinate technical analysis in support of our customers including the technical analysis of Client products and how they can be effectively introduced into our customer's applications.
Facilitate project execution including outside of R&D Coordination with business development, the NAMC and other functions.
Support of engineering team members output through project management processes to achieve project goals and timelines.
Requirements:
This Position Will Be Working From The Plano Texas Headquarters - Hybrid Schedule (Mon, Tue and Wed onsite).
15% Domestic Travel Is Also Involved With This Role (visiting different customer sites in Phoenix, California, Michigan and Wisconsin) no international travel at this time
What you bring:
BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
Technical Project Management Experience
Demonstrated expertise collaborating with multiple cross functional stakeholders outside of base organization.
Detailed understanding of automotive components, systems, and vehicle packaging utilizing CATIA V5.
Familiar with project / program management tools such as JIRA, Sheets, among others.
Highly motivated self-starter with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills including the desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
What you may bring:
MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, MBA, or equivalent
PMP
Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
