To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: Job Description HII, Mission Technologies is looking to hire an Aviation Maintenance Logistician to provide technical support for the Army Futures Command and the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Division (AMED) in Corpus Christi, Texas. Essential Job Responsibilities Support government engineers with expert advice, analysis, research, and technical guidance related to aviation maintenance logistics solutions for US Army rotary aircraft or uncrewed aerial vehicles.
Provide logistician support and leadership for the AMED Center for Repair Engineering and Technology Evaluation (CREATE) program. Support AMED leadership with expert advice, analysis, research, technical guidance, and training related to logistics solutions for rotary or unmanned aircraft systems.
Lead/manage an aircraft parts warehouse, process incoming/outgoing parts, and create/maintain required records/reports.
Assist with managing the AMED tool control, logistic support equipment, hazmat, environmental programs, and other programs as assigned by AMED Division leadership.
Assist with managing the AMED facility, property book, mail room, and other administrative collateral duties as assigned by AMED Division leadership.
Manage development of training for associated programs according to standards. Provide analytical and logistics support for engineering repair development, technical evaluation, and advanced manufacturing projects. All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.
Minimum Qualifications 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's in a related field; 3 years of experience with a Masters; or High School Diploma or equivalent with 9 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience using problem-solving and critical thinking skills to transform concepts into sustainable solutions. Possess strong listening, written, and oral communication skills. Competence in MS Office and related software/programs.
Proficient in managing work in progress, material/component availability, data analysis, logistic challenges, and reporting requirements.
Familiarity with Aviation Logistics Management processes, requirements, and standards.
Proficient with utilizing warehouse support equipment and the ability to lift 30 lbs. Experience providing analytical and logistics support for a DoD aviation component.
Proficient in writing technical reports, procedures, and processes.
Meet project travel requirements (approximately 10% of projects require travel)
Security Clearance: Must obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Requirements Greater than 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent with 13 years of relevant experience.
Logistics management experience supporting aviation logistics management processes, requirements, and standards for US Army Aviation. Combined Arms Support Command, Logistics Support Activity (LOGSA), Packaging, Storage, and Containerization Center (PSCC) training/certifications.
Defense Acquisition University, Army Master Logistician Certificate. Experience working with the Corpus Christi Army Depot or other DoD Depot Maintenance facilities.
Experience working with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Disposition Services.
Five or more years of experience in SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), SAP Business Reporting Tools, data warehousing principals/best practice solutions, SAP BEx Analyzer, cross-functional knowledge and manipulation experience of SAP Modules, and proven track record of architecting complete SAP Business Warehousing (BW) / Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.
