As an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling all aircraft repair and maintenance activities and ensuring those activities are performed safely, on-time, and within budget. You'll ensure all foreign object inspections and activities are completed, ensure projects are properly staffed with qualified employees and establish work standards, hours of work and appropriate shifts to be worked to accomplish work on small programs. You'll also review maintenance delays and system problems in order to suggest improvements to maintenance processes and procedures. You will have overall responsibility for the airworthiness of the fleet and will ensure safe and adequate maintenance is performed at all times with the exception of platform supporting programs. Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Familiarity with aviation safety standards, FAA regulations, policies, and procedures and safe operating practices
Basic understanding of Aircraft Maintenance and Inspection processes and procedures and/or returning planes to service
Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of time
Current/ valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment Willing to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 90/90 or 90/45 rotation Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required
An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required Preferred: Typically 0-2 years of relevant experience
A higher level degree may substitute for experience
Previous management or lead experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence
