Access to walking and biking trails Responsibilities: Lead the implementation of the MBSE methodologies for the program
Define and manage system architectures, interfaces and requirements using MBSE tools
Develop and maintain the system models using SysML to ensure design consistency, traceability, and integration across systems an subsystems
Define and document system requirements and ensure traceability to system models
Collaborate with systems engineers, software developers, hardware and electrical engineers to ensure that system design is accurately represented in the model
Ensure models are updated throughout the product lifecycle and conceptual design to testing.
Define air and ground subsystem structures, behavior, interfaces and data flows.
Work closely with other disciplines to help define and build system models that will represent system performance attributes so that key performance requirements can be tracked and analyzed through the program Lifecyle.
An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance is required Must-haves: Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
Well versed in MBSE modeling tools such as CAMEO, rhapsody, magic draw, etc.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical field
General working knowledge of airborne mission system architectures and subsystems i.e. Navigation, Telmetry, Datalinks, Networking, Communication, EO/IR imagery, etc.
Experience in agile development methodologies, with excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and teamwork across agile development teams

Ability to decompose complex systems into functional parts, with clearly defined interfaces and requirements for each
Working knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle Preferred: Experience with integration and certification of sensors or other systems onto airborne platforms
Experience with radiometric modeling
Experience with image processing techniques
Knowledge of the OMS/UCI standard
Strong laboratory and software prototyping skills
Experience with windows and Linux operating systems and administration
Basic understanding of IT equipment hardware configuration and maintenance
Proficiency in an analytical toolchains/languages (e.g., MATLAB, Python)
Experience with MBSE techniques (e.g. Cameo, SysML, etc)
Knowledge of optical imaging system components (lenses, sensors, sensor and image processing electronics, etc.) and their characterization Estimated Starting Salary Range: $104,827.91 - $144,138.38.
