As a Supply Chain Manager I, you'll lead a team of buyers, subcontracts management specialist and category leads to define, develop and improve the supply base and esure it's support to SNC programs. You'll establish priorities to maintain production schedules to ensure program milestones and delivery requirements are met, as well as coordinate with executive management, program management and other department managers to ensure the company's material, planning and production objectives are accomplished. You'll prepare capital, contract equipment and facility requests based on program and company demands. Additionally, you'll lead supply chain innovation and efficiency throughout the Business Area by partnering with departments to support the company's vision. You'll function as a supply chain liaison within the business by collaborating with Operations, planning, and the logistics groups. You'll drive innovation by maximizing capabilities of current procurement management systems and seek out new advancements in technology and process. You'll drive the supply chain discovery process, drive implementation and deployment for complex projects. You'll ensure meaningful supply chain KPIs (key performance indicators) are set, measured and communicated across the organization to drive visibility on goals, as well as provide leadership to direct reports, including responsibility for your department's performance. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations - with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries. Responsibilities: Lead a team of buyers, assist with daily issues with Suppliers and other internal functional areas
Engage in creative problem solving with team members and program
Lead and mentor entry level buyers for continued growth
Identify opportunities for strategic contracting methods with our suppliers
The individual for this position will also assist team with creating various long term agreements Must-haves: Bachelor's degree in a related field of study
Relevant work experience may substitute for required education
Proficient negotiations skills
Candidate must have Supply Chain Management skills
Extensive direct Purchasing experience
Government Contracting with FAR/DFAR Experience
Strategic Sourcing Skills
Leadership Skills Preferred: Typically, 2-4 years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Prefer a candidate with both development and production experience skills.
In-depth working knowledge of commodity , Category and Sourcing Management
Background in manufacturing timelines and requirements
Ability to read and understand technical requirements
Experience working in Supply Chain supporting government contracts
Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) compliance

Strong Communication Skills Estimated Starting Salary Range: $104,827.91 - $144,138.38. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
