SAIC is in need of a Systems Engineer to support our Army Ground Based Sense and Avoid (GBSAA) program in Huntsville, Alabama.
About the Program:
The Ground Based Sense and Avoid program is system that provides situational awareness and conflict avoidance for unmanned aircraft.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Senior Systems Engineer candidate will be required to support collaboration with the customer to define, capture, derive, and prioritize applicable requirements for the UAS training solutions. Requirements will be de-composed to a software/hardware level for implementation following an Agile/SCRUM development process. Senior Systems Engineer will also need a solid depth and breadth understanding of engineering processes to help drive the definition, maintenance, synchronization, and monitoring of processes to include: architecture definition, interfaces coordination, requirements management, formal technical reviews, artifact reviews, technical supplier management, configuration management, and agile processes. Senior Systems Engineer will also support integration, test, documentation, and delivery of the UAS training solutions. Senior Systems Engineer candidate will be working in a dynamic, fast-paced development environment with multiple contractors and teaming partners and must be self-motivated, reliable, dependable, flexible, and have excellent interpersonal and verbal/written/presentation communication skills.

Required Educati on and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree with nine (9) years of experience; Additional four (4) years of experience can be accepted in lieu of degree.
Required Security Clearance:
- Must have an Interim Secret Security Clearance to begin employment
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance to maintain employment
