The Opportunity: With cloud-based tools, faster GPUs, and the explosion of connected devices, geospatial data has more potential than ever. A skilled geospatial and remote sensing analyst can turn that data into actionable information. If that sounds like you, we have an opportunity for you to use your geospatial analysis skills to transform our nation's defense. As a geospatial and remote sensing analyst at Booz Allen, you'll work with a team of analysts and data scientists to extract meaning and context from a variety of structured and unstructured data sources. Using resources like ArcGIS and RemoteView, you'll find the patterns and connections to answer your customer's needs. On our team, you'll also use your skills to leverage satellite and airborne remote sensing solutions, and you'll help analyze data to assess meaning and potential intent. You'll design and create geospatial solutions for priorities like infrastructure, topography, human geography, and intelligence. Your visualization skills will come in handy as you build imagery products and GEOINT Notes to ensure warfighters and policy makers have the timely information they need. We focus on growing as a team, so we'll share te chn iques, work through challenges, and develop workflows. Knowledge of NTM and civil or commer cia l sensors providing hardcopy and sof tcopy imagery
Knowledge of digital imagery data across all the major phenomenologies
Knowledge of standard and non-standard customer reports, including GEOINT Notes
Knowledge in the tasking of overhead intelligence collection systems
Knowledge of systems and sof tware programs, including RemoteView, ArcGIS, and common imagery processing sof tware and programs
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam HS diploma or GED Completion of an imagery analysis course Nice If You Have: TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or te chn ical field, such as Geographic Information Science, Physics, Earth Science, Mathematics, or related field Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS/SCI clearance is required. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
