To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: Who We Are We are seeking a Quality Manager 1 who will report to the Systems Integration (SI) and Marine Services Operation (MSO) Quality Assurance Manager. Responsible to support the SI/MSO Quality Assurance Manager in ensuring quality policies and procedures are followed. Monitors work operations daily and actively assists or provides direction as required to QA and Production personnel. Provides training and inspections as required. Assists in the development, modification, and execution of procedures in support of Quality Objectives. Assists in daily operations of team or work unit. What You Will Do Assist with Fact Finding investigations and preparation of final reports
Assist in development of formal responses to Customer CARs and administer CARs in DevonWay.
Conduct Internal Audits and Support External Audits
Manage/Oversee the MIC Level 1 program
Assist QAM with Surveillance scheduling, tracking, reporting for all SI and MSO regions.
Participate as Quality Rep (alternate) in Quality Committee meetings and attend Quality staff meetings.
Assist QAM in providing guidance and direction based on metrics derived from QMS tool and Surveillance Data
Assist QAM in preparation of quarterly Quality Assurance Reports
Assist with Training the workforce regarding Quality and the HII FSG QMS
Review, approve, track, report, release and close out Maintenance Procedures (MPs), Formal Work Packages (FWP), Controlled Work Packages (CWPs) and Quality Assurance Work Books (QAWBs)
What You Must Have 4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience.
Must have Experience developing QAWB's and supporting Alteration Installations IAW NAVSEA 9090-310
Must have experience conducting quality surveillances onboard US Navy Ships to witness, verify, and document results of in-process and final tests and inspections.
Must have experience conducting quality reviews of Quality Assurance Work Books (QAWBs)
Must have a strong background in shipboard electrical and fiberoptic maintenance processes. Must have strong communication skills; verbal, written and electronically.
Must be able to obtain and maintain SECRET level security clearance.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a CAC badge, base, and ship access.
Physical Requirements Job performance may require working in an industrial or shipboard environment. Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level.
