Description
In this role you'll report directly into the Electrical Engineering Manager and be responsible for:
- Designs circuit schematics and PCBs, while coding, testing, debugging, and modifying complex embedded systems.
- Participates in hardware, firmware, and code reviews, documenting software releases per company guidelines.
- Develops product requirements and functional specifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams for scalable solutions.
- Analyzes hardware/firmware feasibility, identifies risks, and provides project timelines and cost estimates.
- Ensures compliance with UL, CSA, EU, and FCC standards, mentors junior engineers, and offers technical expertise across teams.
- Supports product life cycle management and assists in resolving technical product issues, while producing comprehensive technical documentation.
Profile
A successful candidate will have:
- 5+ years of Embedded systems hardware/ firmware development
- Electrical engineering background
- Power electronics hardware development
- Strong knowledge of Circuit Schematics and PCB design
- Simulation tools - MATLAB, Simulink, PSpice, Python
- C programming
