As a company, we constantly challenge what's possible, never simply accepting what has always been done. We reframe old problems, seek new solutions and operate comfortably in areas that are unknown. Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.
Role Summary:
In this role, you will spearhead the development and execution of Fleet Apps and OTA deliverables. You will be expected to demonstrate high levels of initiative, independent judgment, and indirect leadership skills. Acting as the key advocate for Fleet Apps within the Vehicle Applications team, you will drive the design, development, release, validation, and launch processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams, software partners, and external product development stakeholders. You will also monitor and communicate the overall status of departmental program deliverables, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies while balancing cost and timely delivery. This position will be based out of our Palo Alto, California Office.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the fleet apps team to improve OTA updates, vehicle location features, in-house reservations, and fleet vehicle management.
Lead the development process to align with vehicle-level timelines and address potential risks.
Work with Quality Management System teams to integrate data from development through post-sale service stages.
Partner with the factory and quality teams to ensure timelines are met and resolve integration challenges.
Lead design reviews, drive integration solutions, and manage stakeholder expectations.
Generate meaningful metrics and provide regular updates on program deliverables.
Act as a key problem-solver and roadblock remover, communicating updates across teams.
Engage with Product Development and Software teams to address critical paths and challenges.
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience on a program team or equivalent.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, from design to production.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
Experience in product release, automotive quality processes, and automotive OTA systems.
