Selected candidate will be responsible for the readiness, installation, operations, maintenance, employment, and leadership/management of personnel in support of multiple sites. Employee will direct and implement the development of operational plans and procedures to ensure the timely, safe, secure, and technically sound completion of 24/7/365 communications. What We Are Looking For Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and site lead management. Responsible to government leaders for coordination and logistics support for the installation of equipment and engineering requirements.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, Customer, Contractors and Sub-Contractors.
Regularly briefs senior government civilian and contracted program management (GS-15 level) personnel on all assigned Department requirements, products, concerns, readiness, construction projects, future operations, planning, policies, and procedures in support of the government customer.
What We Are Looking For 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma/equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience. Experience in electronic maintenance and running a computerized maintenance management system.
Experience with Navy's Maintenance & Material Management (3M) program.
Experience with developing Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRC), maintenance schedule, and periodicity assignment.
Experience in leading large scale installation projects. System integration and implementation experience.
Contract/work package development experience. RF propagation and mitigation experience. Electromagnetic Interference theory experience. Electromagnetic Interference mitigation experience. Must have a current or active DoD top secret clearance.
Must be able to obtain/maintain base access credentials.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Preferred: Bonus Points For Experience in operations management and watch floor operations highly desired.
Experience managing disparate locations preferred.
Experience with managing power safety programs highly desired.
Experience with multi-platform provisioning platforms. Experience in writing/directing policies, procedures, and documents a plus, this experience related to Navy policies, procedures and documents preferred.
