Technical Leadership: Serve as the primary technical liaison for the Pilot Battery Pack End-of-Line (eEOL) test team. Support engineering testing and execution of high-voltage battery pack eEOL testing, ensuring thorough and accurate assessments.
Engineering Oversight: Act as the Battery Pack Engineering Lead, responsible for managing cross-functional engineering efforts related to eEOL testing of high-voltage battery packs. Coordinate with various teams to drive successful testing outcomes.
Mentorship and Improvement: Mentor new eEOL test engineers, providing guidance and support. Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of processes related to module-level and battery pack-level testing.
Collaborative Coordination: Work closely with leads from Triage, Calibration, and Software groups. Ensure effective diagnosis, troubleshooting, and timely delivery of new and reworked battery packs.
Requirements:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous.
Professional Experience: 3-5 years of experience in electrification product design or development, with a strong track record in supporting complex electromechanical projects.
Technical Leadership: Proven ability to lead technical projects in electromechanical systems, demonstrating effective problem-solving and project management skills.
Technical Skills: Expertise in troubleshooting techniques and meticulous documentation of findings. Proficiency with analysis tools such as CANalyzer, VehicleSPY, and Intrepid RAD-wBMS, with a deep understanding of their conditions, assumptions, and limitations.
Communication Skills: Excellent communicator with the ability to clearly and concisely present complex technical data to both internal and external stakeholders. Experience in engaging with suppliers and effectively conveying technical information.
Industry Knowledge: Well-versed in common automotive and industry standards, with a solid grasp of the product development lifecycle and its phases.
Personal Attributes: Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Demonstrates a commitment to challenging the status quo and pursuing continuous improvement.
Safety Commitment: Adheres strictly to safety standards and protocols, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience in high-voltage battery testing or a similar field is highly desirable.
Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues. Proven experience in mentoring and process improvement.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various engineering teams and present technical information clearly.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with battery pack testing procedures, eEOL testing processes, and related engineering tools and methodologies.

Ability to be on site at CTC 5 days a week, beginning at 7 AM
