SciTec has an immediate opportunity for a talented Integration Engineer to support our programs delivering Next-Generation Missile Warning software. This is a unique opportunity to join a small business that provides core capabilities for National Security and Defense. Our teams focus on low-latency data processing for exploitation of remote sensing systems. Our ideal candidate will be a well-rounded, experienced engineer who can coordinate across multiple teams, lead a team to integrate multiple components into an orchestrated Government framework, and work well as part of a rapid pace, collaborative, small-team environment.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for our software projects
Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring infrastructure using tools such as Kubernetes and Docker
Troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and performance
Collaborate with development teams to optimize code for performance, scalability, and reliability
Implement and enforce best practices for security and compliance.
Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to our DevOps processes and tools
Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve developer experience
Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
A bachelor's of science degree in computer science, engineering, physical sciences, mathematics, or similar field
At least five years professional experience designing and developing application container deployment solutions using docker, docker-compose, Kubernetes, etc.
At least five years professional experience and fluency in one or more of the following languages: C++, Python
At least three years professional experience building and executing DevOps or DevSecOps solutions using Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) such as gitlab-ci and/or Jenkins
At least three years ongoing experience using Linux operating systems to develop software
Strong experience maintaining deployment environments for development, test and production
Detail oriented
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work full-time in-person in Boulder, CO office location
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
Candidates who have any of the following skills will be preferred:
An advanced degree in the physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science
Experience with OpenShift
Experience implementing features of C++ 14, 17, and 20 standards
Professional experience with Agile software development
A current active DoD SECRET security clearance or higher

The pay range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000 per year.
