Gateway Mapping, Inc. (J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. subsidiary) is hiring a GIS Intern. This will be a term position determined at the time of hire.
The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and edit GIS datasets.
- Process aerial photographs and import GIS data form a variety of sources.
- Create, edit, attribute geographic features and manipulate GIS datasets.
- Prepare map products for clients.
- Publish and maintain web maps and geospatial services.
- Current student with coursework in Geography, GIS, Remote Sensing, computer science and/or knowledge or experience performing geospatial data processing and computerized cartography.
- Must have knowledge of GIS principles and data models.
- Knowledge of GIS software, primarily Esri's ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
- Must be able to interpret data and maps.
