Autonodyne is a Boston-based software company working to provide additive autonomy to unmanned vehicles in land, sea, and air domains. At Autonodyne we specialize in the command and control of autonomous vehicles. Our software suite sits at the nexus of Human-Machine Interface & Autonomy Behaviors. We are searching for a Program Manager - Active DoD Secret Clearance preferred. The ideal candidate can effectively utilize skills to be the primary interface to the Executive Program Office while ensuring the program effort is managed and meets management, technical and cost defined targets. Responsibilities:
• Manage programs to meet management, technical, and cost defined targets;
• Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract;
• Develop strategic plans to ensure program performance;
• Lead and work with a team of developers of various skill levels;
• Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance;
• Participate in contract negotiations, subcontractor management, and proposal development for new and upcoming work;
• Implement Risk and Opportunity Management strategies;
• Lead diverse teams to solve complex technical issues; Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree with 1-5 years of professional experience;
• Experience with program management;
• Experienced leader who supports individual growth and a mentor to less experienced team members;
• Experience with developing and managing complex project documents, including project management plans, schedules, risk registers, and stakeholder and requirement documents;
• Demonstrated leading multidisciplinary teams;
• Demonstrated strong customer relationship skills, subcontractors, and company leadership;
• Experience with Risk and Opportunity Management;
• Experience with cost, schedule, and technical baselines;
• Experience with bringing products from development, through engineering test, and production while balancing schedule, budget, and technical pressures; Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in related field;
• Knowledge of scrum and agile software processes;
• Experience working with vendors and solving complex problems in partnership;
• Capable of managing, developing, and submitting proposals;
• Active DoD Secret Clearance; Travel: This position has the potential to travel to customer and non-customer sites principally in North America (up to 20%), but global travel is also possible. Other Criteria: Strongly prefer domicile near the Boston/Cambridge metro area but will consider non-local domicile - relocation to Boston area part of compensation package, if necessary. Work Location: Hybrid remote in Boston, MA 02210
