Job Description US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED

The Import Export Analyst II will support all aspects of export/import compliance within the Space & Missions (SMS) Sector. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, International Trade Compliance. The Finance Strategic Capabilities Unit delivers the expertise and business acumen to increase value across the enterprise by providing actionable information with recommendations and opportunities to drive sustainable business growth. What You'll Do:
Prepare and administer export license applications, technical assistance agreements, exemptions, exceptions, and other authorizations. Ensure compliance with approved authorizations. Coordinate Export and Imports shipments in accordance with BAE Systems policy and U.S. Government export regulations and laws.
Coordinate with program personnel to obtain export/import application information, review provisos/riders on licenses and agreements to ensure business and customer requirements can be met by the license or agreement, determine product jurisdiction/classification, and accomplish regulatory requirements related to authorizations.
Approve foreign travel and foreign visitors.
Participate in the investigation of any aspect of proposed export, temporary export, or temporary import by the Company to verify the legality of any transactions and the accuracy of the information.
Participate in the development and presentation of export related training materials.
Provide BAE Systems and/or government agencies with any required assistance or information needed during the review of license application.
Maintain export related record keeping functions for the Company as required by law.
Participate in conducting internal compliance audits on a periodic basis.
Maintain export licensing records in OCR EASE and/or other databases used for storing and tracking BAE Systems export licensing history and other reviews/approvals. When requested, prepares and distributes periodic reports on licensing status for use by Company personnel.
Continually develop knowledge of ITAR and EAR regulations by attending seminars and conferences, participating in BAE Systems training, and keeping abreast of proposed and final regulatory changes.
Support the Sr. Manager in addressing and resolving export issues as they arise.
Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Perform other duties as necessary. On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required. Working Conditions:
Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor. Position to include air travel to various export conferences and required training. Required Education, Experience, & Skills BS/BA plus 2 or more years related experience.
Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
Familiarity with the current Department of State International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Department of Commerce Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
Must be detail oriented, have good writing skills, and have good organization/communication skills.
Ability to utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate report and documents; make decisions using sound judgement while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.'A security clearance or access with Polygraph is not required to be eligible for this position. However, the applicant must be willing and eligible for submission, depending on program requirements, after an offer is accepted and must be able to maintain the applicable clearance/access. Full-Time Salary Range: $64130.000 - $109010.000 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
