Job Number: R Technical Product Systems Engineering Manager
Key Role: Manage all aspects of product hardware engineering activities. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions and mentor or supervise employees in both firm and te chn ical competencies. Basic Qualifications: Experience with leading an integrated product team, including a variety of te chn ical and non-te chn ical teammates Experience with overseeing the development of te chn ical documentation, including te chn ical drawings, schematics, and written te chn ical documentation or specifications Experience with requirements management for developmental and fielded hardware systems Knowledge of manufacturing te chn ologies and approaches, including additive and traditional subtractive manufacturing te chn iques and electronics assembly and integration Ability to develop and maintain a program schedule, including identification of critical path, risk mitigation activities, and resource loading across the entire systems development life cycle Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Ocean Engineering and 8+ years of experience with engineering task management, scheduling, and execution, including research, design, development, test, and evaluation of complex electromechanical hardware systems, or Master's degree and 3+ years of experience with engineering task management, scheduling, and execution, including research, design, development, test, and evaluation of complex electromechanical hardware systems Additional Qualifications: Experience with military manned or unmanned vehicle systems Experience with development, integration, and testing of electromechanical hardware systems, including the integration of custom and commer cia l off-the-shelf hardware components Knowledge of product design for manufacturability, reliability, maintainability, injection molding, ruggedization, and exposure to extreme environments INCOSE Systems Engineering ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification Project Management Professional ( PMP ) Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
