To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: Who We Are HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a results-driven and dedicated Part-Time USINDOPACOM SME to support our pursuit and acquisition efforts in the Department of Defense (DOD) and the broader United States Government (USG) Agency C5ISR arena. This position is designed for an individual with a wealth of experience in within the INDOPACOM AOR, who is passionate about contributing to strategic initiatives on a part-time basis. Expertise in the INDOPACOM AOR and fostering trust-based relationships.
Remote and/or hybrid schedule authorized for this position. What You Will Do Support and advise on growth strategy initiatives within HII, maintaining a focus on DOD and USINDOPACOM clientele.
Collaborate with the growth team on market/customer assessments, capture strategy development, and execution of new business opportunities.
Contribute to the development of comprehensive business solutions aligned with customer needs for a competitive edge.
Identify potential customers, analyze their requirements, and tailor strategies to address their needs and challenges.
Provide insights for informed decision-making during pursuits, including competitive assessments and pricing-to-win strategies.
Collaborate with teaming partners and suppliers to enhance bid teams' effectiveness and competitiveness.
Participate in bid and proposal activities, translating growth strategy into effective proposal responses. Collaborate with senior leadership, providing insights on market trends, competitive intelligence, and strategic opportunities.
Communicate periodic progress, status updates, and risk assessments to senior management.
What We Are Looking For 15+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13+ years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19+ years relevant experience.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant progressive experience in the USINDOPACOM AOR. Proven track record of contributing to successful contracts within the defense sector.
Strong understanding of the federal acquisition process, including FEDSIM/AAS Defense contracts.
Exceptional strategic thinking skills translating market and customer insights into winning strategies.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization and with external partners.
Proficiency in competitive analysis, market research, and pricing strategies.
Experience participating in proposal development and solutioning sessions.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple initiatives concurrently.
Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred: Bonus Points For National War College graduate. DOD acquisition, technology development, systems integration, operations, and contract experience.
