What You Will Do: The following Duties represent a majority of the position's key responsibilities. Analyzes resourcing and provides budget advice to subordinate units to in regards to oversight of organizing, administering and controlling group and subordinate unit financial plans and plan execution. Experience required in below areas: Performing financial analysis and budget estimates, planning, formulation and execution in compliance with financial, fiscal and auditing directives.
Providing programming recommendations for Squadron/Battalion or higher financial requirements and goals.
Representing a Squadron/Battalion or Higher organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
Providing analysis and recommendations for all aspects of the formulation, development and execution of budgets, financial plans and multi-year programs required to properly fund and meet program resource requirements
Key attributes: Understands 53rd Wing mission; skilled relations manager; communicates well; simplifies complex problems, problem analysis, manages the process from idea to execution, anticipates and averts problems, grasps and adds value to 53rd Wing vision, and has organization and political intelligence. What We're Looking For: 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
Active Secret DoD clearance
Knowledge of common DoD financial management/resource advisor practices, procedures, regulations, precedents, and guidelines.
Knowledge of DoD resource formulation processes to forecast annual revenues and expenditures of assigned funds.
Skill in relating entries in financial documents to mission, structure, goals and work processes.
Ability to formulate, justify and execute assigned financial management program.
Ability to gather, assemble, and analyze program information, draw conclusions, and devise solutions to problems.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, regarding budgets, budget-related training, budget analysis and financial reports in various audiences.
Preferred Requirements Education: Minimum 4-year degree in business, economics or a related field
Defense Travel System approver/administration experience
PMP Certified
DAWIA FM Level 2 Certification
