Role Summary:
Rivian Delivery & Field Operations is seeking a Program Manager, Inventory & Quality to support the execution of business-critical projects that allow the organization to better move, store, and prepare vehicles for everything from customer deliveries to fleet allocation. The Commercial Operations team's overarching goal is to prepare and implement central business functions to deliver the Rivian electric adventure wherever our customers live and play.
As the Program Manager, Inventory & Quality you will work closely with our field team members on project backlog management, process creation and improvement. You will coordinate with our external partners to ensure the team has the tools they need to successfully manage team workflows. Success in this role requires you to have a passion for creating process efficiencies by using Lean methodologies. You will also need to be comfortable working with ever-changing circumstances at a very fast pace.
Responsibilities:
Build organization's objectives and priorities to support global project roadmaps
Autonomously monitors projects and initiatives using program management tools (such as Confluence, Smartsheet, and SharePoint) to communicate a project's vision, priorities, and timelines
Collect inputs and consult cross functionally with varying levels of leadership to make decisions on operational team needs, timing of these needs, and jump in to support with escalations as needed
Leverage internal tools to determine the Vehicle Operations team's current performance and determine where improvements need to be made
Strategize with Vehicle Operations leadership to define objectives and priorities each quarter
Collaborates with Vehicle Operations leadership to define the team strategy and success metrics for ongoing customer support
Establishes efficient processes through organizational change management
Support teams through process and organizational updates using change management principles
Promote and provide feedback to supporting work partners such as Product, Sales, Logistics, and Field Teams
Execute partnership with our Product team members to request improvements to our team's digital tools
Initiate team meetings to identify problems, support problem solving, test out solutions, and determine when a digital solution may be required
Documents and compiles feedback from field partners, executives, and cross functional teams to ensure we have alignment on newly defined processes
Qualifications:
Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast paced and iterative environment, while keeping organization priorities top of mind
Ability to foster and maintain relationships across a wide variety of teams to drive tasks to completion
Knowledge of customer pipeline and workforce management. Consumer call center experience is a plus.
Analytical mindset - able to use data to determine the best path forward
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint / Google Suite - able to analyze datasets (e.g., pivot tables) and create charts to communicate insights effectively
2-4 years of experience operations and/or project management
Proven track record of executing multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish
Passion for operations and process improvement principles
An innovative, customer-centric mindset and approach
Ability to travel up to 30%
Pay Disclosure:
Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $98,000 - $115,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
