R- Description Leidos is seeking a Python developer for a position in Gaithersburg, MD. This position requires a TS/SCI security clearance. The program is building next-generation image processing software using AI/ML for a government customer. The successful developer will grow and expand their skillset, supporting existing applications and contributing to new designs that support emerging requirements. Work alongside geospatial users, supporting their mission using image-processing algorithms. Collaborate with other developers and teams to establish an enterprise system utilizing COTS, FOSS, and GOTS software. Primary Responsibilities: The successful candidate will support the existing python software and development of new python services for a highly distributed architecture that supporting microservices that process remote sensing geospatial data. Development and support of a test-driven CI/CD pipeline is also required for supported applications. Good communication skills are a must. Basic Qualifications: Top Secret SCI Security Clearance REQUIRED
BS in Engineering or Computer Science with 8 to 12 years of relevant experience.
Experience with Python development
Experience with CI/CD development
Familiarity with Agile best practices Preferred Qualifications: Familiar with geospatial web solutions
Familiarity with Docker/RKS/Rancher
