Job Overview:
The I&E Technician will provide planning and onsite support to the Keasbey, NJ site, with a strong focus on critical safety systems and system reliability. This position maintains responsibility over the Raritan Bay and Sayreville air separation plants along with 8 pipeline meter stations. On occasion, this role will be asked to support other facilities within the region during turnarounds, projects, and major maintenance activities. This person will be expected to work independently and make technical decisions and recommendations in the field. Some responsibilities will include:

Job Overview:
The I&E Technician will provide planning and onsite support to the Keasbey, NJ site, with a strong focus on critical safety systems and system reliability. On occasion, this role will be asked to support other facilities within the region during turnarounds, projects, and major maintenance activities. This person will be expected to work independently and make technical decisions and recommendations in the field. Some responsibilities will include:
- Perform calibrations, troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance and installations of pneumatic and electronic analog and digital process control instrumentation.
- Prepares and maintains documentation such as EAM/Procal work orders, analyzer calibration logs, and pipeline meter proving logs.
- Troubleshoot, maintenance, and minor repair of electrical systems up to 600V.
- Must become proficient in operating both the Raritan Bay and Sayreville plants. This includes startup, shutdown, and process troubleshooting.
- Purity analyzer routine calibration and troubleshooting.
- Routine Floboss pipeline meter proving and troubleshooting.
- Automatic control valve troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
- Ensure spare instrumentation parts are available or replaced when used/installed.
- Maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness.
- Required to climb ladders, stairways, and operate man-lifts for elevated instrumentation and control valve maintenance.
- Instruct contractors on safety rules and regulations and always maintains constant surveillance to assure their compliance.
- Willing to be on-call on a rotation with the other plant technicians to respond to plant issues. During the on-call week, you will be responsible for responding to callouts 24/7 and arriving to the facility within 1 hour of the call.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- 2 years related experience in process control instrumentation.
- Proficiency with a variety of I/E hand tools meters, instrument calibration equipment etc.
- Working knowledge of electricity, electrical systems, and motors.
- Can read and understand P&ID's and schematic wiring diagrams.
- Strong organization and planning skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate in applied sciences degree or equivalent apprenticeship preferred.
