Employee Referral Program & Bonuses Responsibilities As the Expert Capabilities Integration Officer supporting NGA's DDI/QA office, you shall serve as a lifecycle systems engineering subject-matter expert leading the evaluation and improvement of AI Governance and Assurance processes within the GEOCOM Data and AI Subcommittee. Responsibilities include analyzing current processes, making recommendations for enhancements, facilitating their implementation, and providing support for organizational behavior change. Additionally, the position entails advocating for the integration of computer vision capabilities across NGA programs, maintaining technical roadmaps, supporting system integration efforts, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure enterprise-level alignment and risk mitigation. This is an onsite role operating out of NGA's NCE campus based in Springfield, VA. In this role, your responsibilities may include the following: Assist with the development and workflow of the GEOCOM Data and AI Subcommittee. Lead contractor evaluation and documentation of current AI Governance and Assurance business, management and general work processes while identifying opportunities for improvement. Analyze the effectiveness of AI Governance and Assurance processes and make improvement recommendations to the government. Recommend and facilitate the implementation of new and / or improved AI Governance and Assurance processes and provide organizations with a means to measure results. Aggregate and analyze performance management data at the program and enterprise levels. Assist with the development of roadmaps to support alignment of the people, processes, and resources for AI Governance and Assurance. Develop periodic and analytical presentations for NGA senior management, NSG Program Management Review (NPMR) and other management reviews. Develop plans and recommendations to assist in the transition of AI Governance and Assurance processes and the implementation of new processes. Recommend and facilitate implementation of techniques to change organizational behavior that result in improved organizational performance. Support the Government with integration of CV capabilities as described in the CNS across the NGA, NSG, ASG, other US Government commercial and foreign partner enterprises, ensuring alignment and compliance of architecture, requirements and as-built capabilities, services and features with all license and sharing agreements. Advocate various CV processes, workflows, and integration across NGA Programs' project plans, technical roadmaps, and schedules to achieve the efficient delivery of capabilities. Maintain technical roadmaps against strategic planning scope and completion dates. Re-baseline roadmaps in response to changes in requirements and strategy as necessary. Ensure integration of solution engineering across time horizons from year of budget execution through the Future Year Defense Program (FYDP and beyond). Support Government oversight of program development and coordination of CONOPS, technology roadmap planning, architecture development, cross segment / cross Agency interface definitions, requirements definition, decomposition, allocation to and development by programs, segments, and projects, and enterprise-level verification and validation, transition to operations and retirement activities. Support integration across the planned, in-work, and delivered services related to sensor integration programs, ensuring that all the components connect, operate together successfully, and are consistent with enterprise plans and strategies. Support integration activities and interactions with the IC, external agencies and the DoD to include data (various GEOINT modalities) acquisition and related ground architecture development efforts to include data management platform (DMP) to user requirements. Support end to end system integration and acceptance as-necessary. Support technical reviews, perform technology readiness assessments, and attend Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) to assess enterprise integration challenges. Review system integration documentation for accuracy, completeness, and harmony with enterprise integration efforts. Coordinate needed changes with appropriate program, segment, and project offices. Support the transition of new services and capabilities to operations and identify gaps in toolsets and automation used to test and deliver those services and capabilities. Identify gaps or new needs for automated test capabilities to address incoming capabilities. Provide developers guidance and recommendation on service virtualization, and service APIs for enterprise systems. In collaboration with Enterprise Risk Management, identify enterprise-level risks, opportunities and issues associated with enterprise integration and assist in risk mitigation. Manage, Coordinate, and from response to taskers for AI Governance Required Qualifications Experience Requirements: At least twenty (20) years of total/cumulative work experience, with a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in the following areas: Experience working in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
Demonstrated experience developing periodic and analytical presentations for NGA senior management, NSG Program Management Review (NPMR) and other management reviews.
Experience supporting the Government with integration of capabilities across the NGA, NSG, ASG, other US Government commercial and foreign partner enterprise ensuring alignment of architecture, requirements and as-built capabilities, services and features comply with all license and sharing agreements.

Experience with and a strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle. Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in a related technical or scientific field such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program. In addition, candidates must possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance to be considered eligible for this position. Desired Qualifications Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in a related technical or scientific field such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program.
Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages. Software Development Framework certification. INCOSE Expert Systems engineering Professional (ESEP) certification. Licensure as a professional engineer. Extensive work experience in the field of geospatial intelligence. Experience engineering solutions using Cloud-based technologies. Experience engineering solutions using structured and unstructured Big Data. Experience engineering solutions using Automation, Augmentation and Artificial Intelligence technologies. Demonstrated expertise in photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems, geomatics, or related fields. Demonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises or previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project work experience. Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience.
