The Raytheon, Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) Inter Organization Transfers (IOT) has an immediate opening for a Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls (P3) to join our team based out of McKinney, TX. The successful candidate will be able to help support a group of financial analysts responsible for the daily business and financial activities for programs within the Naval Power (NP) Classified portfolio. The candidate will be responsible for cost/schedule control and analysis, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), Forecasting, Estimate-at-Completion (EAC), Latest Revised Estimates (LRE), variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting, partnering with the Program Manager and CAMs/IPTLs, and providing financial leadership in the successful execution of various development contracts. Candidate will drive the operations finance process, monitor program health and compliance, and partner with other functional team members to improve program financial metrics. In addition, this position is responsible for actively identifying risks that affect cost and/or schedule and providing proactive analysis of all financial aspects of the responsible programs. Performance of additional ad-hoc analysis will be required as well as support of 5 Year and AOP forecasting. What You Will Do: Cost/schedule control and analysis, forecasting, estimate-at-completion (EAC), variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting for a set of assigned programs. Frequent collaboration with the Program Manager, and CAM's/IPTLs, Material Program Managers, and Mission Area PMO/Finance. Personal involvement in the successful execution of contracts. Actively identifying risks that affect cost and/or schedule and providing proactive analysis of all financial aspects of the projects. Performance of additional ad-hoc analysis will be required as well. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically candidates will have a bachelors degree and 5 years' financial based experience or an advanced degree and 3 years experience. Experience using Microsoft Office tools (advanced excel preferred). Security Clearance - Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer: Experienced in preparation of financial forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis with an understanding of indirect cost and overhead rates Experience with SAP business systems APEX EV and PRISM EV Ability to quickly Master Business Systems Familiarity with RPLAN Continuous improvement Mindset: CORE Certified Interpersonal and presentation skills- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely Understanding of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) Excellent problem solving skills and a high attention to detail and accuracy Self-starter who shows initiative by seeking ways to improve processes and data analysis Additional Information: This position is grade P3, Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
