To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: Job Description Huntington Ingalls Industries, Mission Technologies Division (HII-MT) is seeking a qualified candidate for RF Engineer. The RF Engineer performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of the total system product to include: test, installation, operation, maintenance and sustainability. Properly employs test assets in customer-driven test objectives. Performs functional analysis and timeline analysis. Develop system concepts and signal processing algorithms and work as part of a small team to architect, develop, implement signal processing algorithms. The engineer will present an understanding of testing philosophies and methodologies within an agile test environment Essential Job Responsibilities Designs, develops, tests radio frequency (RF) and/or microwave systems architecture, components, circuits, or products. Minimum Qualifications 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with advanced security checks.
Implement or maintain signal processing algorithms written in C/C++, Python or MATLAB
Preferred Requirements Experience with modeling and simulation of signal processing algorithms.
Experience analyzing large data sets
Physical Requirements May require working in an office, industrial, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
