MORSE is searching for candidates with hands on experience with mechanical, electrical, and testing. This position will be fully onsite in our Cambridge lab and office.

Job Summary

Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on assembly tasks of mechanical, electrical, and novel material systems to support prototyping and production
- Perform testing and quality inspections using laboratory equipment
- Follow and find new ways to improve manufacturing, safety, and general lab processes
- US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
- Ability to use hand tools for assembly as well as analytical tools for testing
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing R&D environment and quickly learn new topics
- Ability to identify issues, communicate them, and work with engineers to develop solutions
- Ability to follow detailed fabrication processes of complex prototypes to high degree of quality and accuracy
- Experience in the fabrication of mechanical and electrical systems using commonly used techniques and tools
- Cooperative team player eager to step up and fill in gaps as needed
