Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ELINT Situational Awareness Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing air traffic data, ensuring comprehensive situational awareness, and providing critical information to operational teams to support safe and effective aviation operations. This position will involve working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and requires strong background in aviation, navigation technologies, and operational planning for DoD or similar. Examples of duties include but not limited to: Continuously track and assess electronic signals, radar emissions, and other electromagnetic spectrum activities to detect and identify potential threats or anomalies affecting aviation operations.
Relay critical, real-time ELINT data and analysis to aviation teams, including pilots, and mission planners to ensure informed decision-making and safe flight operations.
Identify, classify, and track electronic threats such as radar systems, communications, and jamming activities, providing actionable intelligence to mitigate potential risks to missions.
Prepare and disseminate detailed ELINT reports, assessments, and threat analysis to operational leadership, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of current electronic threat levels and any significant changes in the threat environment.
Work closely with intelligence analysts, air crew, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of ELINT data into broader situational awareness frameworks.
Operate and maintain ELINT systems, radar, and communications tools, ensuring optimal functionality and troubleshooting any issues that may arise during operations.
Analyze ELINT data to identify potential risks to aviation safety or mission success, advising leadership on how to address or mitigate these threats through tactical and operational adjustments.
Ensure all operations comply with relevant government regulations, aviation protocols, and internal security guidelines to maintain mission integrity and safety. This position is contingent upon award of contract Qualifications Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, Geography, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in aviation navigation, mission planning, or related roles, preferably within a government or military context.
Proficiency in aviation-related software and situational awareness tools (e.g., Flight Aware, RESA, GALE).
Knowledge of aviation-related electronic systems, including communication systems, navigation aids, and radar systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions under pressure.

ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) operations.
Certification in aviation management or related fields.
