Responsibilities: Digital & Firmware Development: Lead the design process from architecture and component selection to implementation and production ramp, ensuring successful FPGA-based solutions.
FPGA Design: Design and implement digital circuits using Verilog or VHDL.
Optimization of FPGA Solutions: Develop and optimize FPGA solutions tailored for specific applications.
Collaboration: Work with hardware and software engineers to ensure FPGA designs integrate smoothly into larger systems.
Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest embedded high-speed systems technologies and industry trends, including standards like SOSA. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in FPGA design and architecture.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of digital design fundamentals.
Proficiency in Verilog or VHDL.
Experience with FPGA development tools such as Xilinx, Altera, Vivado, or Intel Quartus.
Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and/or embedded systems is a plus.
Familiarity with SOSA (Sensor Open Systems Architecture) is a plus.
Experience with complex circuit board design.
